We are America's Tapestry, a volunteer-driven project bringing Revolutionary War stories to light through the art of embroidery for our nation's 250th anniversary.
Each panel has been designed in collaboration with historical organizations and stitched by volunteer embroiderers across the East Coast.
Our project represents thousands of hours of needlework in an effort to create an unprecedented artistic record of our founding. Behind every stitch is a talented volunteer from age 6 to 90+ whose unique perspective and individual artistry has created something truly unique.
We need your help. These panels have been invited to tour prestigious galleries throughout the original 13 states over the next two years, debuting at the Muscarelle Museum of Art in 2026. To make this exhibition possible, we must commission a professional-grade art crate to protect these irreplaceable works.
Without proper museum-quality transport, we risk damage that would undo the artistry of our volunteers and prevent thousands from discovering these important histories that shaped our nation.
Your donation protects both needle art and the stories it tells. This custom crate will safeguard the panels throughout their two-year tour and preserve them for future generations.
Help us share these stories of America's founding. Every contribution - no matter the size - brings us closer to our goal.
