Help Sam (Graham) through cancer

Sam's world was turned upside down on Monday 28th October.

Less than a week prior he was working out at the gym and just couldn't catch his breath the same as usual. Chris urged him to go to the Gympie Hospital after several nauseating and hard breathing days and thats where they found a tennis ball sized lump in his right lung.

Wednesday 30th He was moved onto the Sunshine Coast Hospital for more scans, draining 1.5l of fluid to keep him breathing and to get the biopsy.

It was confirmed as stage 4 lung cancer on November 1st and on the 4th he started chemo. The next day his scan results came back showing further cancer in the neck, lymph nodes, hip and pancreas.

So then of course all our lives were flipped upside down, Dad was in the hospital taking it one day at a time, Mum was going back and forth and none of us could have guessed anything could be this bad.

As Sam's kids that want to keep him here beyond Christmas, we are reaching out for help financially to support him and Chris our Mum through this unimaginable time.

At this stage there is no knowing the journey ahead but the funds will definitely help going towards the ongoing hospital travel, his new healthy diet and keeping a healthy environment, having mum home from work to support him full time heading into his second round of therapy late November and then keeping her available and him comfortable for Christmas.

His positivity is refreshing and his strength is admirable but even the strongest need help and support during hard times so please know that your donation will have an impact.
