Donate to support Richard and Achilles Compion
Donation protected
Richard Compion’s life was tragically taken from him Saturday, August 6th, when an irresponsible drunk driver ran a red light in Bloomington, Indiana. Richard’s 5-year-old son, Achilles, was in the vehicle with him, and he was airlifted to an Indianapolis hospital. He is still in critical condition and fighting for his young life.
Unfortunately, Richard did not have life insurance or any plans in place to help with funeral services. Both of his parents are deceased. This leaves his older brother and next of kin, Joe Compion, solely responsible for expenses.
We are asking for donations to help with the cost of Richard’s funeral. Any leftover money will be directed to little Achilles, who will need all of the support he can get in the wake of his father's death.
Richard was truly someone who would find comedy and joy in everyday life. He could convince you of anything and sell anything to anyone. He had such a unique perspective and could entertain anyone lucky enough to be around him. Most of all, Richard was a great father who dedicated himself to his child, who he fondly called "Bub."
We ask that you pray for a full recovery for Achilles and pray for the Compion and Foster families during this time of grief. Please share Richard’s funeral fundraiser with others. Remember this man, whose life was taken entirely too soon, and give to his son who won't know how to cope with the loss of his father at such a young age.
