Hello,
I am Fr. Lewis Gabriel and am the Superior General of the Canons Regular of the Sacred Heart of Jesus-CRSHJ , up here in Durham, County Durham, North East England.
Our community is small, but our hope is stubborn.
We’re raising funds because we’ve reached a point where we simply can’t carry this alone. The work we’re doing matters:
- to the people we serve,
- to the people we want to accompany, the sick, the dying and their families, in the hospices and hospitals,
- and to the wider community, especially the LGBTQ+ Community, another Support Pastoral we are seeking to develop.
But the practical costs have outgrown our resources.
We’re not asking for luxury or comfort. We’re asking for the means to keep going: to continue offering care, support, Love in Christ, and stability in a world that feels increasingly at odds with loving care.
Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us take one more step forward. And if you can’t give, sharing this page is a gift in itself.
