Dear friends and family,

I am starting this Go Fund Me to ask for your support for my family and rally around us as we face this journey ahead.

On Wednesday, August 6, my dad got into a car accident and shattered his right shoulder and fractured his humerus bone. It was a pretty severe fracture. The next day he had shoulder replacement surgery and reconstruction of his humerus bone. It was a complicated surgery but thankfully it went well and he is now recovering. All glory be to God!

My dad is a good man who works hard to help provide for his family. Everyone who knows him knows how dedicated he is to his family, and how hard-working and responsible he is. He is pretty shook up from all this, and is still processing how traumatic this was for him—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

My dad needs quite some time to recover and will not be able to work for a while. He will need physical therapy for months, as well as multiple follow-up visits with his doctor, and without having health insurance, the costs are overwhelming as you can imagine. He is the primary income earner of the household, so the financial burden from medical bills, future medical expenses, household bills, living expenses, being without a car, and other needs will be a lot. We’re asking for your help in alleviating this financial load. Whatever amount you feel led to give means a lot and will help with the costly medical bills, the medical expenses, and the living expenses.

Above all, we ask for your prayers. Prayers for a smooth recovery and healing from the trauma of it all. That God would miraculously restore his shoulder and arm to how He originally designed it, that God would heal his soul, that the doctors and therapists would have heavenly wisdom and understanding to help my dad heal, that the Lord would give us strength as a family to take care of him and face what’s ahead, that He would go before us and protect us, and that He would provide for every financial need. We’re learning a deeper level of trust in God, and that He truly is the Provider AND the Provision in every way.
