Climbing Kilimanjaro to Support Girls Education

My bucket list is long, but I'm working my way through it and prioritizing what truly matters in today's challenging world. One of those bucket list items was to summit Mt. Kilimanjaro, and I head out next week to see if I can. Whether I make it or not, I will share my climb highlights and journey with all of you, along with reflections along the way.

I wanted to use this opportunity to raise support for a cause very close to my heart - "Education for Girls".

My parents taught me many valuable lessons, but the one that was by far the important was this: "the one thing in your life that can never be taken away from you, come what may, is education"—knowing that, whatever your circumstance, you can make a difference. Education is the most potent agent of change. I have been fortunate and privileged to have had the support and resources to pursue learning opportunities continually.

Education is essential for everyone, but it is harder to access in many communities, especially for girls. Supporting charities that enable more girls to be educated and own their future is an absolute must.

As I head out to try and check off a long-standing bucket list item, I want to reach out to my network and community to help me raise funds for this critical cause - every dollar you give goes to changing a future. Let's raise funds for this incredible cause. My goal is to raise $ 10,000.
