Earlier this week we lost our beloved Arturo Laboy.

At 47, he leaves behind 3 daughters: Aviana (10), Raquel (6), and Estela (3) and his son Javier (30). His passing has left a huge hole in our hearts and is now a tough financial situation for his wife, Laura Bulza-Laboy, and their little girls. He was their world and was also the sole financial provider.

We are urgently fundraising for the remaining funeral costs but, most importantly, to help Laura with rent and other living costs as she adjusts to a life without him and as she raises their three daughters alone.

Arturo had a fiery spirit, a sharp wit, and a warm laugh. He lived a life defined by love: love for his family, love for others, and love for God.

Arturo’s passing came as a devastating shock. Days earlier, he had visited the ER after feeling winded at work. After being admitted to the hospital, doctors discovered the heartbreaking truth: acute leukemia, an aggressive cancer that took his life far too soon.

Laura has been a devoted wife and stay-at-home mom for the past decade and only recently started working part-time, so any support to her and her family means the world right now.
