Emergency: Our Lifeline Van Needs Immediate Repairs

We currently have 117 animals in our care — 37 of them puppies.

Every single one depends on us showing up — for medical appointments, supply runs, intake calls, emergency pickups, spay/neuter days, and transports to better futures.

We are doing everything we can to keep up, but lately it feels like we’re trying to empty the ocean with a spoon.

The need keeps rising.

The emergencies keep coming.

The costs keep climbing.

And now this.

Our rescue van — fully outfitted with built-in crates, proper ventilation, and cleanable, medical-safe surfaces — needs over $8,000 in repairs. This isn’t just a vehicle. It was designed for exactly the kind of work we do every single day: pulling animals from dangerous situations, moving litters safely, transporting medical cases, picking up essential supplies, and responding to the nonstop calls for help that never seem to slow down.

We don’t have the budget for an $8,000 repair bill.

We don’t have another transport vehicle waiting in the wings.

And we don’t have the luxury of slowing down when so many animals need help right now.

We know times are hard for everyone.

We know there are a thousand places your money could go.

But if you’re able to give — even a few dollars — it truly would make a difference. Getting this van repaired means more animals pulled from danger, more fragile cases receiving care, more lives saved, and more second chances for these animals that are so deserving of someone to care.

This van has carried so many lives to safety.

We want to keep going.

We just need this one thing to go right.

Please, please — every dollar you can donate matters.

Thank you for caring about the animals of Webster Parish, for believing in us, and for helping us keep going on the days the work feels impossibly heavy. We can’t do it alone — and your support means more than you know.
