On what was meant to be a joyful family day at the lake, tragedy struck and changed everything in an instant. A devoted father and a true family man James Anthony Hirsch lost his life in a heartbreaking accident while spending quality time with his children.

While taking his two oldest boys, John (9) and Jackson (5), on a paddleboard ride, he drowned—doing what he loved most: making memories with his kids. His final moments were spent protecting and bringing joy to his children. His bravery and love will never be forgotten.

He leaves behind four beautiful children:
