Ultra marathon to help James fight Melanoma

Hello friends and family this July I am heading to north wales to complete an ultramarathon, running 57km through the mountains to raise funds for my dear old friend James.

We’ve been friends since we were small children when we met in primary school and became friends for life. James has always been a genuine and positive guy, someone who always greets you with a big smile and is ready for a laugh and a good chat.

Unfortunately James was diagnosed with advanced melanoma 2 years ago and has since faced 6 biopsies, 7 petscans, multiple surgeries with prolonged periods of recovery, he's been through immunotherapy and 20 doses of radiation therapy. This all accumulates too well over 50 days in hospital, away from his beautiful young family; his wife and 2 year old son. James has been unable to work due to his condition and the frequency of his treatments and as a result himself and his family are starting to struggle financially.

I am asking for any donations, large or small for my efforts in battling the mountains of wales in order to support James and his family as he battles this cancer.
