“H” is a woman in her 20s from Guinea, represented by the BU Immigrants’ Rights Clinic. She is kind, resilient, and a lover of learning.

H is an asylum seeker who has escaped a lifetime of gender-based violence. Now, as she resettles in the U.S., she is experiencing a semblance of autonomy for the first time, while also going through a difficult legal battle. H, who was pulled out of school in her youth, is now back in school and making great strides in learning English.

As she escaped to the U.S. by herself, she has a need for money for expenses such as warm winter clothes, school materials, and getting a driver’s license. Please consider donating or sharing this fundraiser to support H.
