Donate To Support Gabrielle's Journey to World Archery

My name is Gabrielle West, and I have been selected as one of only 3 U18 female recurve archers, to represent Australia at the World Archery Youth Championships in Canada in August 2025.

I am raising funds as this upcoming international event is entirely self-funded, with an estimated total cost of around AU$10,000. This amount covers everything required to participate, including flights, accommodation, registration fees, meals, local travel, and all necessary equipment. One of the key expenses is the mandatory full second bow set-up, which is a requirement for international competition.

I first tried archery in 2022 and quickly realised how much I enjoyed the sport. Since then, I’ve competed in numerous local, state, and national competitions and am proud to currently hold several state and national records. Now, I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to represent Australia at the World Archery Youth Championships (WAYC), an event that represents a stepping stone toward senior-level competition and even the Olympic Games.

This chance to compete on the world stage means so much to me, and with your support, I can take the next big step in pursuing my archery dreams.
