Hi my name is Aidan Goldman I am an 11th grade Math Teacher at Excel Academy Charter High School in East Boston. I will be running the 2026 Boston Marathon on behalf of the school to raise money for the College and Post-Secondary Success (CAPS) team!

Money raised will go to scholarship funds for our students to help them overcome financial barriers and reach their goals. This is a deeply personal cause to me as an 11th grade teacher. Many kids I am currently teaching and care for are starting to get serious about their college search and post high school dreams. Any funds donated will assist these kids that I care so much about to be the best version of themselves and pursue the option that is best for them, even if money is a roadblock.

It is a great honor to represent this fun bunch of children and wonderful staff at the marathon. I only hope seeing me endure marathon training will help them endure studying for their math tests!
