We are raising funds to help support our ongoing efforts to improve Franklin County Dog Shelter from a less than 75% save rate to 90% and above (no-kill).

Shelters around the US are reaching these save rates, with 2 out of 3 shelters now reaching no-kill status.

The story is much different here in Franklin County. Our leadership has let the shelter save rate continue to decline, cut off communication with rescue and advocacy groups, refuses to use industry expertise and partnerships like Best Friends Animal Society - a resource that can provide thousands of dollars in program support - and has recently hidden shelter statistic data from the public.

All funds raised in this effort will help us support our online petition and its goals - Transform Franklin County Ohio Dog Shelter into a no kill shetler. This includes paying for legal support and representation, advocacy, as well as community educational resources.
