A couple of months ago, I suffered a really intense hernia and found out that I also had cancer in my kidney. Just like that, I found myself unable to work for about four months while having to undergo surgery to remove my right kidney and another upcoming surgery to repair the hernia. I will also be starting immunotherapy in a few weeks that will continue for a year.

Now, for the first time in decades, I find myself concerned about my ability to cover my family expenses as the situation evolves. To be frank, anything helps.
