Erik Walter Horn

Age 60 of New Lothrop passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at Memorial Healthcare Hospital.

Erik was born December 30, 1963, in Owosso, the son of Rik and Norine Horn.

He graduated from Chesaning High School and went on to attend college where he acquired an associates degree in broadcasting.

Erik had a passion for music, he loved listening and learning about music. Erik enjoyed concerts, watching movies, and had a vast knowledge on the history of music.

He married Lynn Thiel in Vassar, Michigan, on July 24, 2021.

Erik worked as a photographer and reporter in broadcasting for the news for many years.

Erik is survived by his wife, Lynn Horn; children, Jordan and Erika; mother, Norine Horn; granddaughters: Emery and Ezri; brothers, Josh and Jason; three stepchildren; and many other loving family and friends.

He was predeceased by his father, Rik Horn.
