Hi everyone,

My name is Jorge, and I’ve started this GoFundMe for my best friend, Diana Hernandez.

In August, Diana was admitted to the hospital and later diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She spent over a month undergoing chemotherapy and has recently been discharged to continue treatment at home. Her journey isn’t over yet — she’ll need ongoing chemo and, eventually, a stem cell transplant to help her reach and stay in remission.

Through it all, Diana has stayed incredibly positive and grounded. She’s only 22, and earlier this year, she proudly graduated with her Bachelor’s degree. She had plans to start her Master’s and Doctorate program this fall and had been working multiple jobs to help cover tuition and living expenses.

Unfortunately, her plans are on hold as she focuses on her health. This fundraiser is to help ease the financial burden so she can put all her energy into recovery. Every donation will go toward medical costs, daily expenses, and keeping her future within reach. If you’re not able to donate, simply sharing her story means a lot.
