We are heartbroken to share the devastating news of the loss of our beloved David, who tragically took his own life after a long battle with mental illness. David was not just a partner, father, son, brother, and uncle—he was truly special in our family. He worked hard to provide for his loved ones, maintaining a home filled with love and laughter, especially after the recent arrival of his baby girl, Amari, born just last month in July 2024.
David’s passing has left a tremendous void in the lives of his wife, Angela, and their two beautiful children, Mikah and Amari. Mikah, only 7 years old, adored his father and is struggling to understand why his dad is no longer here to play with him or tuck him in at night. Little Amari will never get the chance to know her father, but we are committed to ensuring that she grows up surrounded by the love and memories of him. David also has an adult daughter, Nee-nee, 18, who we know will also miss her father.
David was more than just a nephew; he was like a brother to his Uncle John, who is only a year older. His sisters, Kim and Melissa, are grappling with the overwhelming pain of losing their big brother, the oldest grandchild in our family, who they looked up to with so much admiration.
Vivian and David, his parents, should not have to be planning final expenses for their eldest child, but they are.
In this time of unimaginable grief, we are coming together to support Angela, Mikah, and Amari as they navigate life without David. We have started a GoFundMe campaign to help cover David’s final expenses and to provide financial support for his wife and children as they face the challenging road ahead.
Your donation, no matter the size, will make a difference. It will help give David the respectful farewell he deserves and ensure that his family has the resources they need to start rebuilding their lives.

David's funeral services and all final expenses will be $7,000 at Clark Funeral Home at 196 Elm Street, Champlain, NY 12919. The viewing will be on Saturday, August 24th.
We are asking for an additional $3,000 to help Angela regain some financial stability and pay her current housing bills for this and next month, while she figures out how to make up for his income.
