Many of you will know David Blackadder, a friend of Earls Barton Music and professional trumpeter who has often played in our performances. He is also husband to Anne-Marie, who sings in the altos.

David unfortunately had an accident recently while out in San Francisco where he was performing with an orchestra, falling and damaging his back and ribs. Thankfully the orchestra insurance was able to get him home, but he is now left unable to work while he recovers. This is on top of several months off work last year while he underwent treatment for cancer.
