Kathryn Arline “Kitty” Harrell, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 16th around 5 pm

Now that she has stepped into Heaven, my heart’s desire is to Honor my family together in one sacred place at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery, here in Houston. My father rests there already. My brother, Clifford Keith Harrell, who passed away in 2014, was cremated. My mother will be cremated as well.

My goal is to place both of their ashes beside my father and install one upright family headstone large enough to honor all three of their names. This allows them to rest together, side by side. It is also the most conservative and cost-effective way to honor them with dignity.

There are two main expenses:

• The cemetery’s “opening and closing” fee for placing the cremated remains

• One upright family marker, engraved with all three names.

I’ve raised a little through friends and GoFundMe, and I’m grateful. But I’m still far from what’s needed to complete the goal.

I’m asking for help with humility and deep appreciation.

If you feel led to give — any amount — it will help me honor my mother “Kitty,” my father, "Big E" and my brother, "Cliff" with a beautiful, dignified family memorial.
