So... I have decided to cave in to tremendous peer pressure not to get the big cut. So I am not donating my hair (for now). Now a child doesn't get a wig (with my hair). Shame on you all!!
But I have not given up on my dream of giving a little girl a pretty wig, so instead of cutting my hair, I want to fundraise instead so the charity can afford to do what they do. Children with Hair Loss estimates it costs around $1,500 to make a single wig. So I'm taking ALL YO MONEY.
I have decided to blackmail my friends and family: IF WE DO NOT RAISE THE $1,500 BY National Big Wig Day, Fri, Jan 30th, THE LONG HAIR GETS CHOPPED!
I chose Children With Hair Loss because not only do they give kids wigs, they also provide wig care kits that include a bunch of awesome products and that educate kids on how to properly take care of their wigs. They give these for free to children around the country, and I see many testimonies of real people talking about being so happy with the wigs they got.
With your support, we can make a significant impact and ensure that every child who needs a hair replacement receives one.
Join me in this collective effort and help bring hope and smiles to young hearts. Please donate today! Your donations go straight to the nonprofit (they do not go into my account).
Now chop chop. My future hairstyle is in your hands. ... And also the future hairstyle of a child experiencing medical hair loss.
