Dear Friends, Family, and Kind Strangers,

Our dear friend Ming Chen and his family were directly hit by the Wellington Tornado yesterday (10/9/2024) and experienced a devastating loss. Tragically, their roof is damaged beyond repair, and the home sustained significant structural and water damage.

While we are so grateful that Ming Chen and his family are safe, the emotional and financial toll is overwhelming. Instantly, their place of comfort and security has been turned upside down. We want to raise half of this amount through donations. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will go directly to helping them get back on their feet and begin the long process of recovery.

• Roof repair and structural damage: We must ensure the house is safe to live in again. Currently, there is no AC or running water.
