Donate to Chances School Supplies Drive by Eva & Alexis

Hi, We are Eva Mazurek and Alexis Maroukian, currently attending Madison High School and we are reaching out to you today to support Chances Community Center Inc., a Newark-based non-profit, dedicated to providing essential support to local residents who are deeply impoverished, and they can truly use help right now, especially for their children. WE are leading a drive to supply back-to-school items for CHILDREN in need, with a goal of raising $1,500 to purchase the supplies listed BELOW. Thanks to partnerships with community donors, we can secure backpacks and other materials at wholesale prices to ensure every child is prepared for school.

While donations of monetary gifts are much preferred (so we can accommodate more children in need). Donations of new or gently used backpacks and school supplies that are no longer needed are also greatly appreciated and we can arrange pick-up as needed. Writing Utensils: #2 pencils, colored pencils, pens (blue, black, red), highlighters

Paper & Notebooks : Wide-ruled notebooks, composition notebook, two-pocket folders, 2-inch binders (3-ring), dividers, spiral notebooks loose-leaf paper

Art Supplies: crayons, washable markers, glue sticks, safety scissors, rulers

Other Essentials: headphones, dry-erase markers, calculator, water bottle, erasers, pencil sharpener, pencil case or pouch
