Our beloved Maria Ocampo-Buenaventura has recently been diagnosed with cancer and is now facing the difficult road of determining a treatment plan and navigating the journey ahead. During this time, her husband Aries needs to be by her side to support her through every appointment, decision, and moment — and together, they continue to care for their three beautiful children.

Maria has been a pillar of both the Filipino and Canadian communities for many years. She has given of herself tirelessly and selflessly, always showing up for others in times of need. She is an amazing and devoted wife and mother, a faithful servant, and a beautiful spirit whose light radiates wherever she goes.
