On June 19, the Pyon family's world changed forever. Mike Pyon, beloved husband to Andrea and father to Dylan, Gavin, Jasmine and Vittoria, passed away unexpectedly after 22 days in intensive care. Despite the doctors' best efforts, Mike did not recover.

Andrea and Mike were married for almost 30 years. Together, they raised four children, built a life rooted in love, hard work, and mutual support, and were looking forward to a new chapter. Mike had been working long hours at Patient First while simultaneously building his dream business with his partners: a craft distillery he poured his heart and soul into for the past four years. He was just weeks away from being able to focus more time on the distillery—a dream that was so close to becoming reality.

Mike’s sudden passing has left a deep void in the lives of many. He was not only a devoted husband and father, but a cherished friend, business partner, coworker, and cheerleader for so many in his community. The loss is overwhelming.

Andrea and their kids now face not only unimaginable grief, but also the financial strain of losing Mike’s income, managing end-of-life expenses, and navigating major life changes. Andrea has lost her best friend, her co-parent, and her partner in life, and the kids have lost their father far too young.
