My name is Ritzel, and I am the aunt of a wonderful 9-year-old boy named Zion. With the full consent of his parents, Juhn Rey and Arliza, I have organized this fundraising effort to support him in his battle against osteosarcoma, a type of bone cancer that has affected his right leg.

Zion is an incredibly bright, kind, and energetic child. He is not only a loving son and a caring older brother to his sister, Zairey, but also a passionate athlete who excels in football and actively competes in tournaments. His enthusiasm for life and sports has always been inspiring.

However, our world was turned upside down when he was diagnosed with malignant osteosarcoma. This heartbreaking news has left our entire family in shock. Zion is currently undergoing chemotherapy, and to prevent the cancer from spreading, he is scheduled for leg amputation after a series of treatments—a life-altering challenge for him and his parents.

As you can imagine, this battle is not only emotionally and physically exhausting but also a heavy financial burden, especially since his father is now the sole provider for the family. The funds raised will go directly toward Zion’s second chemotherapy session on February 18, 2025, as well as future treatments, medications, personal needs, and long-term care.
