On Sunday, October 20, 2024, a tragedy occurred. My sister’s apartment caught on fire with her 2 sons, Mychel and Malik, and my nephew Omari inside. It is heavy on my heart to say that my nephew Mychel and Omari did not survive, and my nephew Malik is still currently in critical condition fighting for his life. Omari was a very loving and beautiful young man and my sister’s only son. We truly need support from everyone in and around the community.
