Donate to Sully's Fight Against Cancer

Hi everyone, my name is Jen, and I’m writing this with a sad heart for one of my dearest lifelong friends Sarah, and her beloved dog, Sully.

Sully is not just a pet—he is Sarah's adventure buddy, the inspiration behind her business, her companion.. her family. Their bond and connection is exceptionally strong and very close. He has been there for her in ways no words can describe, bringing her comfort in some very dark moments and filling her days with the most unconditional love.

But now, Sully needs us.

About two months ago, Sully was rushed to the emergency vet, where they discovered a ruptured kidney tumor. Sarah had to make life-saving decisions quickly. She never left his side, holding him through the pain, doing everything she can to save him. But the vet bills have already climbed past $15,000, and there’s still more care ahead. She is doing everything she can, but she can’t do this alone.

Sarah is an amazing mama to Sully and one of the greatest people I know. She has spent a lot of her life helping dogs stay fit and healthy, especially SULLY. Now, she is watching her best friend fight for his life, and the financial burden is overwhelming. No one should have to choose between saving their dog and affording their future.

I’m asking everyone to please help. Every single dollar makes a difference. If you can’t donate, please, please share Sully’s story. Let’s give Sarah and Sully a fighting chance.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,

Jen

Here is their story written by Sarah..

Sully’s Battle Against Cancer
On December 9th, 2024, my world crumbled. Without warning, my beloved dog Sully began violently vomiting, his body in so much pain. The slightest touch made him whimper in agony. Panicked, I rushed him to the emergency vet, not knowing that the next few days would be some of the toughest and scariest for us. What should have been a short visit turned into three grueling days of tests, scans, ultrasounds, and finally, an emergency surgery that no one could guarantee would save him.

Sully was bleeding internally from a massive ruptured tumor on his right kidney. Every expert told me the same thing—that he most likely had hemangiosarcoma, an automatic death sentence for dogs and that he had only weeks to live. The odds of it being anything else were less than 4%. But I couldn’t accept that. I couldn’t give up on him. Sully has been by my side through some of the toughest times, it was my turn to fight for him.

Sully underwent emergency surgery to remove the ruptured tumor and his kidney. The procedure was excruciatingly difficult, and the cancer had already spread microscopic cells into his abdomen. The fact that he survived is nothing short of a miracle. Eleven agonizing days later, I got the biopsy results—Sully didn’t have hemangiosarcoma, but he had renal carcinoma. The relief I felt was short-lived. It is still a very rare cancer in dogs and I am now in a race against time to save him.

I have done everything in my power to help him—switching to a holistic lifestyle, hand-preparing his meals, incorporating Chinese herbs, organic supplements, seeking the best medical opinions, even removing anything toxic in the house. One oncologist offered very little to no hope. But another gave me a glimmer of light and lots of hope! Sully’s scans are currently clear, his cancer markers are low, and he has a really good chance! The vet even said if all goes well and we can wipe out whatever is left, Sully can enjoy many more years. Every single microscopic cancer cell in his abdomen is a ticking time bomb.

The Cost of Treatment – Our Desperate Need
Palladia, a specialized treatment, is Sully’s only shot at survival. Traditional chemotherapy is not an option—it would be too toxic to his remaining kidney. But Palladia is expensive. It costs around $1,000 per month. I found a generic version that costs $300, but that doesn’t include the mandatory ultrasounds, bloodwork, and oncology visits every 4-6 weeks to ensure his body can handle the treatment.

So far, Sully’s medical bills have already surpassed $15,000. I am only one person trying everything I can to save him, and I am exhausted—emotionally, physically, and financially. His treatment moving forward will cost at least another $6,000 over the next 6 months. Every moment that passes without treatment is another moment cancer has the chance to spread. Time is ticking.

The thought of losing Sully so soon is unbearable. He is my heart, my business partner, my companion, my family. I honestly cannot imagine life without him.

How You Can Help – Our Last Hope

We need urgent help to start Sully’s treatment before it’s too late. If we don’t begin Palladia within 10 days, we will have to redo all his scans, adding even more financial strain. Sully deserves more time--- he is only 8 years young. He deserves a chance.

Please, if you can, donate. No amount is too small—every dollar brings us closer to life-saving care. If you can’t donate, please share Sully’s story with everyone you know. Sharing and spreading his story would mean the world to us.

We are so grateful for all of the prayers, heartfelt messages, and unwavering support during this difficult time.

With great love,
Sarah & Sully
