I am a good friend of this couple. They are in need of money. Sue and Sly are the type of people that would give their shirt off their back if you needed it. Sly is recovering from two back surgeries within a week of one another. When he went out of work, he was told he would get full pay, and Sue had a job. They had to move to California from Florida as both lost their jobs. Sly landed a job in Southern California, and they listed the house. After several months, Sue was able to join him. She got a job, but still, it was tight as the market in Florida is awful. They have lowered the price several times, and it still has not sold. They just had to move out of their rental into a campground in their RV. They can't boondock as there is an electrical problem with the RV. They have had so many bumps in the road.

When Sue came back from taking time off to help Sly recover from surgery, her job decided to cut her hours to part-time. Then the next week, they decided to let her go. She can't claim unemployment as she hasn't lived in California long enough. When Sly didn't get a paycheck, he called the company as his boss told him he would get full pay as he has unlimited sick time, so he didn't apply for disability. When he called to find out why he hadn't received a paycheck, he was then told, "No, we can't do that. You have to apply for disability." In California, you have to apply to the state first and get turned down, which he will as he hasn't lived in California long enough. Then he can apply for the private disability. This all takes time, and they don't have the funds to last. So I decided to set this up. Any amount will help, so please donate to them and help them get through this tough patch. Thank you.
