Update 11/12/25

This afternoon I was told they said the surgery went really smooth but his heart is only functioning at half the rate it should be but now that he has all of his blood flow back to his heart, all of those muscles should start to heal back up.

They also replaced one of his heart valves and cut off the appendix on his heart to stop more problems from forming in the future but that he’s already healing up quick!

7pm Steve’s out of surgery and everything well well, praise God!

Steve is going into surgery at 1pm, it’ll be a 4-5 hour procedure. Pray for a smooth sailing surgery. I’ll let everyone know when he’s out and in recovery. Thank you all for the continued support.

Update 11/10/25

Spoke with Steve this morning, he’s in good spirits still and says th staff is taking really good care of him! He did inform me they pushed surgery out until tomorrow. We discussed a meal train but he said that all of that is handled right now so we will hold off until maybe after he’s settled and recovering for that type of help. He’s grateful for everyone support- so thank you all so much!!!

Hello everyone,

As many of you may already know, our beloved Steve ( Our Secuirty guard at Desert Martini) experienced a heart attack this past week. He is stable and in good spirits, but will be undergoing surgery on Monday.

Unfortunately, Steve does not have health insurance, so he will be paying for his medical care out of pocket. In addition, he will be unable to work at both the shop and the bar during his recovery, resulting in a significant loss of income. At this time there’s no estimate for surgery but we are just going to raise as much as we can!

Steve is always the first to show up, support others, and take care of everyone around him — now it’s our turn to show up for him. I have already had several people ask how they can help, so we wanted to create a place to do just that.

Any donation is deeply appreciated, and sharing this page would mean the world. Please keep Steve and his family in your prayers as he prepares for surgery and begins his recovery.
