My name is Kayla and I’m making this for my best friend Stefanie and her husband Tj. Her husband was airlifted from work the other day to a hospital because of a constant nosebleed for an unknown reason and feeling sick at the time. After some tests they discovered he has T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He’s lost conciseness a few times and collapsed once and spilt his head open trying to use the restroom. They have not left the hospital since the diagnosis. He can’t return to work and they have started him on chemo because of how aggressive the cancer is. Their sudden, scary new reality came without warning. They recently moved to Texas but are from Bakersfield. Stefs mom has flown out to be with their children and help them to school and be their caretaker, as stef will not be leaving Tj’s side while being treated in the hospital, and undergoing some painfully brutal tests and chemo. This is their new home three hours from their children for a while . Not only is this emotionally brutal and physically for TJ, he also can’t work. He is the family’s sole provider. I’m asking for anyone to help in any way they can to help this family get through this at least financially while they face this new difficult reality with one less thing to worry about.
