Message from the State Bar of California:

Our employees in the Los Angeles area have been severely impacted by the January 2025 wildfires, with several staff members losing their homes entirely and others facing long-term displacement. These individuals now face the overwhelming task of rebuilding their lives while dealing with immediate needs for housing, essential items, and basic necessities.

This fund has been established to provide direct support to these employees. All donations will be distributed equally among those staff members who have lost their homes to help them bridge the gap during this challenging time. We have implemented careful oversight to ensure fair distribution of funds, with contributions handled in accordance with regulatory requirements. The State Bar is managing this campaign directly, and 100% of donations will go to our affected employees.

Our workforce has already shown tremendous solidarity during this crisis and this fundraising campaign represents another way we can come together to help our colleagues when they need it most.
