Hello, I’m Christopher Thompson and I’m trying to raise money for my dad, Stanley “Trent” Thompson,  Who is suffering from Gastrointestinal Cancer - Cachexia,  and other health conditions.

Owner of Thompson’s Auto Detailing and Hand Wash, He’s a good father, veteran of the California Army National Guard, served as a 1st Lieutenant in the California Civil Air Patrol, and a community service volunteer.

 At this time he is suffering from serious medical conditions.  He is undergoing life saving medical treatment, and therapy, and is unable to work or do activities that could aggravate his condition.

He has been diagnosed with a host of other health concerns, including, spinal disc degeneration and slipped/compacted discs in several areas, hiatal hernia, venous thrombosis, macrocytic anemia, atrial fibulation, and Hiatal hernia.  While all are serious, the immediate life threatening concern is the Gastric Cancer which is causing (Cachexia).

As a family we are looking at a strenuous 1 to 2 year treatment plan that includes surgeries, extensive lab test and scans, weekly physical therapy, chiropractic visits, possible pulmonary, spinal, Hernia surgeries.   We are managing “palliative” care at home, and trying to stay active, working on regaining weight and energy while following doctor’s orders to “not work”.

While we are truly grateful for the medical care he is receiving, the financial burden of co-pays, various medications and nutritional supplements, therapeutic items, increase need for food, nutrition beverages, and other essential items has been overwhelming.

For this reason we are reaching out to request donations of any amount to help offset the costs associated with treatment, recovery, extra care, co-pays, and living / transportation expenses while not being able to work.
