Stand with Ashley in Her Fight Against Cancer

Hello everyone,

On behalf of the Romero and Enriquez Family I would appreciate if you could take a moment to read the story of my daughter, Ashley Enriquez, daughter of Enrique Enriquez, sister of Janet Torres and Yaletzi Enríquez.

My daughter, Ashley is only 24 years old and began having unexpected symptoms around May of 2024 that were looked as “normal.” During that time, my daughter was reassured by her doctors that she was okay, as everything appeared normal. As time continued to pass, my daughter began to have more consistent symptoms which included the feeling of itchy hands, persistent fatigue, shortness of breath, and headaches. By late October, Ashleys symptoms worsened and she discovered several bumps on her neck.

It was not until, December 2nd, 2024, that my daughter received the unfortunate news of her cancer diagnoses which was 1 year exactly after my daughter, Ashley ran the St. Judes Memphis Marathon Weekend (for the St. Judes Children Research Hospital - to fight for children with cancer) that she was confirmed of having the diagnoses of Cancer.

For those that know my daughter, she has a big heart filled with a lot of love for all of her loved ones that surround her. She is an amazing daughter and sister with many dreams ahead of herself that she hopes to be able to accomplish. Ashley has shown incredible strength and resilience since her diagnoses, and continues to show a positive and faithful attitude even during this hard chapter in her life. Ashley has been so brave during this new journey of hers as she battles cancer. Ashley’s father and I are so proud of Ashley’s bravery.

As many of you know, cancer treatments can impose a heavy financial burden, which is why at this moment, Ashley’s father and I would appreciate the financial support of all of our family and friends in helping us cover the costs that awaits us for Ashley’s treatment to fight cancer.

We are deeply grateful to all of our family and friends who have reached out to our family during this difficult time—your support and kind words truly make a difference.

En nombre de la Familia Romero y Enriquez agradecería si pudieran tomarse un momento para leer la historia de mi hija, Ashley Enriquez, hija de Enrique Enriquez, hermana de Janet Torres y Yaletzy Enríquez.

Mi hija, Ashley tiene solo 24 años y comenzó a tener síntomas inesperados alrededor de Mayo de 2024 que parecían "normales". Durante ese tiempo, a mi hija le aseguraron los doctores que estaba bien, ya que todo parecía normal. A medida que pasaba el tiempo, mi hija comenzó a tener síntomas más constantes que incluían sensación de picazón en las manos, fatiga persistente, dificultad para respirar y dolores de cabeza. A fines de Octubre, los síntomas de Ashley empeoraron y descubrió varios bultos en su cuello.

No fue hasta el 2 de Diciembre de 2024 que mi hija recibió la desafortunada noticia de su diagnóstico de cáncer. Hace un año exactamente mi hija Ashley,corrió el Maratón de St. Judes children hospital en Memphis, Tennessee para apoyar los niños con cancer de St. Judes Children Research Hospital que lo venía haciendo por varios años apoyando siempre a los niños con cancer. Nunca se imaginó que un año después ella fuera diagnosticada con Cáncer.

Para aquellos que conocen a mi hija, ella tiene un gran corazón lleno de mucho amor por todos sus seres queridos que la rodean. Es una hija y hermana increíble con muchos sueños por delante que espera poder cumplir. Ashley ha demostrado una fuerza increíble desde su diagnóstico, y continúa mostrando una actitud positiva y fiel incluso durante este difícil capítulo de su vida. Ashley ha sido muy valiente durante este nuevo viaje en su lucha contra el cáncer. El padre de Ashley y yo yo estamos muy orgullosos de la valentía de Ashley.

Como muchos de ustedes saben, los tratamientos contra el cáncer pueden suponer una gran carga financiera, por lo que en este momento, el padre de Ashley y yo agradeceríamos el apoyo financiero de toda nuestra familia y amigos para ayudarnos a cubrir los costos que nos esperan por el tratamiento de Ashley en lucha contra el Cáncer.

Estamos profundamente agradecidos a todos nuestros familiares y amigos que se han acercado a nuestra familia durante este momento difícil: su apoyo y sus amables palabras realmente hacen la diferencia.
