Help me Stand again: Recovery support after Double hip surgery. Asking for help is never easy—especially when you’ve spent your entire life working hard to provide for your family. Today I come to you in faith and vulnerability, asking for your kindness and support during one of the most difficult times in my life.

In October 2024, I underwent a total right hip replacement. While in recovery, the company I had faithfully worked for over five years (Butterball) suddenly closed its doors. While appealing unemployment benefits and still awaiting three months later, I needed a second major surgery, a left total hip replacement. This procedure came with life-threatening complications and left me hospitalized for thirty days. I am now home still recovering, but my mobility remains severely limited. My femoral nerve is paralyzed, leaving me unable to complete my daily activities without help. Physicians say I will need mobile assistance for years to come.

This situation has taken everything from me—emotionally, physically, spiritually, and financially. I’ve sold and pawned all I had just to survive and still remain behind. Today I have nowhere left to turn. I am humbly asking for your help to raise money to cover two months of critical expenses—including my mortgage, car loan, life insurance, utilities, and medical expenses until social security disability benefits begin this year, Lord willing.
