This July, Stacey began experiencing chronic pain in his knee, beyond the usual. It took roughly two and a half months of doctor's visits and various X-rays and MRIs to finally come to the conclusion that he would need knee surgery.
Stacey underwent meniscus surgery on October 22nd. They were able to remove damaged tissue as well as damaged cartilage to mitigate the pain and slow down symptoms of arthritis.
Since August, Stacey has not been able to work. Because of the time it took to get a diagnosis and treatment plan, he has maxed out state assistance.
Stacey's healing journey has only just begun. Because of the nature of his work, he is unable to return to work until he completes a minimum of eight weeks of physical therapy to fully restore his range of motion.
Medical bills are beginning to come in and our family would greatly appreciate any donation you could spare to help offset the lack of income and growing expenses we are currently experiencing.
Thank you for supporting Stacey's recovery!
