Help a Devoted Single Mom & Her Kids Through a Health Crisis

Hi, my name is Alfreda Carter and I’m reaching out on behalf of my daughter, Chelsey, a loving and hardworking single mother of three beautiful young children.

This past weekend, our lives turned upside down.Chelsey ] became seriously ill and had to be rushed to Riverside Hospital. After several days of testing and treatment, her condition worsened, and the doctors made the decision to transfer her to VCU Medical Center for more specialized care. She remains hospitalized there now, facing a long road to recovery with a dedicated team of doctors working to stabilize and treat her.

As you can imagine, this has placed an enormous emotional and financial strain on her and our family. Her children are very young and rely on her for everything. With her unable to work, there’s no income coming in to cover basic expenses like gas, childcare, food, bills, or transportation to and from the hospital.
