For the first time, St. Ignatius Field Hockey had a functional electronic scoreboard that brightly illuminated the score for all Varsity and JV home games. Parents, family, and friends could easily see how well our beloved Wildcats were doing, and the players could know exactly how much time was left in the quarter.

For the first time in program history, in 30 years of field hockey at St. Ignatius, both Varsity and JV won league! You can say the scoreboard was the difference!

Knowing that we needed the scoreboard at the start of the season, the Lewis family (daughter, Storey, Class of 2027) researched our options, ordered, and installed the scoreboard (also taught us all how to use it).

We would like to reimburse the Lewis' who advanced the costs of the scoreboard.

With 50 players in the program, across Varsity and JV, the average cost per player for the scoreboard is $140. Any contribution is greatly appreciated. Anything raised above the goal of the scoreboard will be earmarked for construction of the practice field at Fairmont.
