Donate to Sonja's Family for Urgent Relief

Hi there!! My name's Christina Cammarata, and I am starting a GoFundMe for my dear friend Sonja Midboe. Sonja is an amazing mother to 5 beautiful children and all around the best person I've ever met. She has been through so much and remains strong in the face of all her adversities.

On Thursday morning around 3 a.m., Sonja woke up to get ready for her 5 a.m. shift at Trader Joe's when she smelled smoke. She woke her husband, Troy, and they figured out it was coming from the attic. Sonja and Troy had to rush their children out of the house while the firemen put out the fire, which they later learned was electrical. Their home was devastated, with all of the children's clothes and sheets smelling like smoke and their entire ceiling of their living room caved in. The firemen declared the apartment unlivable.

For the meantime, all 6 of them are staying in a bedroom in my apartment, which obviously is not the most ideal or comfortable situation for them. This money would be put towards finding a new apartment, a few nights in an Airbnb, and buying the kids new clothes. Please consider donating to this amazing family, they truly deserve it.
