Hi there! I'm Sloan, and after gaining my Masters in Youth Ministry and having an incredible time doing domestic youth pastoring, I'm headed back to Kenya to visit some of my favorite brothers and sisters in Christ. For the first two weeks, I'll be traveling throughout rural Kenya and the Somalian border to encourage our persecuted brothers and sisters as they persevere in their faiths against all odds and raise their children to follow Christ. My role will specifically be encouraging Christian parents in hiding in regards to the discipleship of their children without the privilege of publicly attending church or youth group. After this, I'll be traveling back to Made In The Streets to spend time with formerly homeless children and teens teaching in the Learning Center and serving at the homeless children's center in Eastleigh. It will be a busy trip, but I am so excited to see how the Lord will move through relationships with old friends and new ones. Please pray for safety, for physical, spiritual and relational needs to be met through the Lord's provisions and for the name of Jesus to be lifted high!
