Hi, my name is Skylar West. I'm from Memphis, Tennessee. My achievements first started in 5th grade when I was awarded a certificate to join Beta Club.

I've done STEM for two years and finished with a certification in the software PowerPoint. My 8th grade year, I began being more involved by doing sports, clubs, and even being awarded the chance to join NJHS (National Junior Honor Society). My 9th grade year, my first year of high school at Bolton, I was scared and shy, but I still finished my school year OSHA certified and CPR certified. Then, my 10th grade year, I transferred to Millington Central High School. This is where I started getting the most opportunities. I was given A&B Honor Roll. I became more involved in the school again. I'm now in 11th grade and I've been touring colleges so far, including Clark Atlanta University and Alabama A&M University. I've been awarded the chance to study out of state for engineering. Out of Georgia Tech, Michigan State University, UCLA, UC Berkeley, and Yale, I chose to study at UC Berkeley. I will be living on campus for 7 days, but the program is 8 days. This is a big opportunity for me as when I finish this program, I will earn 2 college credits. I'm not asking for the full price, but it would be a blessing for you guys to donate.
