My name is PJ, and I’m fundraising for my incredible wife, Skylar. Over the past year, she has undergone intensive, painful treatments to try to eradicate pre-cancerous cells from her uterus. She has fought so hard to avoid major surgery and a full cancer diagnosis, enduring countless appointments, biopsies, procedures, and side effects.
Unfortunately, after her latest biopsy, her doctor told us the heartbreaking news: She has developed Endometrial Cancer and to stop this from spreading, she needs a hysterectomy as soon as possible.
We are ready to fight, but we cannot do it alone. The surgery itself is costly, and recovery means Skylar will be unable to work for 6–8 weeks. We estimate the total cost — including surgery, lost income, and extra medical bills — will be at least extensive. We have savings we can dip into, but it won't be enough to cover everything.
This is a heavy burden for our family right now, but waiting isn’t an option. Any delay only increases her risk. That’s why we are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for help. The surgery has been fast-tracked due to the severity of the situation, and she is scheduled to go under on September 20th.
Every dollar helps. If you can donate, share this campaign, or even just send us good thoughts and prayers, it means the world to us.
Thank you for reading our story, for caring, and for helping us make sure my wife can heal and look forward to a healthy future.
