I am trying to raise money in hopes to help my friend Silvia with her medical bills. Silvia recently discovered she had a blood clot in her ovaries, causing her to now take a large amount of expensive medication. She then discovered she has a mass on her lungs that she will most likely need surgery to remove.

Silvia has worked for the Lifetime Cafe for 13 years and is one of the most hardworking people I’ve ever met. She is married and has multiple children and grandchildren that she helps take care of. She has insurance from work but even with insurance, the cost of getting the surgery and treatment she needs is too much for her to afford. This is causing her to have to go to Mexico for her healthcare.

Silvia NEVER takes days off, never complains or whines. She comes in every day with a smile ready to work hard, day in and day out. She is loved so dearly by us all and by starting this GoFundMe, I pray we can surprise her with at least something to bring her some joy and hope during a scary time for her and her family.
