SightTrack is an environmental conservation initiative inspired by something I noticed close to home: an increase in wildlife in my own neighborhood. From birds and squirrels to native plants and pollinators, our streets and backyards are teeming with life — yet so little of it gets recorded, understood, or protected.
That’s where SightTrack comes in.
Similar to iNaturalist, SightTrack lets users take photos of animals and plants and share them with a growing network of citizen scientists. But we’re taking things further:
- Multiple modes of data collection mean anyone can contribute — whether you’re a nature enthusiast, a curious student, or someone with no science background at all.
- Real-time analysis offers instant updates on your local biodiversity, helping us map ecological shifts as they happen.
SightTrack empowers communities to observe, protect, and celebrate the natural life around them — one photo at a time.
