Hello Everyone,
I am Sierra Barquet, proud mother of baby boy SieNiq, born 09-27-25 prematurely at 29 weeks 2 days gestation only weighing 2lbs 14oz. On his One Month BirthDate he was transferred from Overlake Medical Center to Swedish First Hill for an emergency surgery with the underlying concerns of him being symptomatic for Necrotizing Enterocolitis also known as NEC (I’ve attached the description)
My world changed overnight. What began as a routine hospital stay quickly became an emergency. Our baby needed surgery to fight this condition, and the days that followed have been some of the hardest of my life.
Through it all, SieNiq has shown incredible strength — fighting every single day to heal and grow. We are so proud of our brave little one.
The recovery process has been long and filled with challenges. Between hospital stays, surgeries, follow-up appointments, and travel costs, the financial strain has become overwhelming.
We are raising funds to help cover:
• Ongoing medical care and recovery costs
• Specialized nutrition and medications for healing
• Travel and lodging for follow-up hospital visits
• Lost income while we care for our baby full-time
• Legal Expenses - ongoing class action lawsuit as well as medical malpractice concerns
