Hello, my name is Julia Phillips, I am a Medical Technician in the Air Force, stationed in California. While I was in Airman Leadership School last month, me, along with some of my classmates helped organize donations for care packages for deployed troops. We secured 518lbs of goods that were divided into 25 boxes. These boxes were set to go to 7 locations across 4 different regions, for both Air Force and Army troops. We were overwhelmed with gratitude, as we were supported from members across the base and within the community to help support this cause. We successfully sent out 15/25 of the packages, using all of the funds we were provided. We were left with 10 boxes to ship out and $12 left in funds from what was donated.
We are requesting help from the community to help get these last 10 boxes sent to our troops, as they are experiencing tough circumstances with today's current events. Any donation, no matter how small would go 100% towards shipping costs. Any remaining funds left over will be donated to the SSgt Ellington Airman Leadership School.
We thank you for taking the time to read this and for all your support!
