My name is Casey Cross, my mothers name is Sherri. Over a year ago my mom was diagnosed with colon cancer. After a long and difficult treatment she beat it leaving her with permanent medical challenges but we believed cancer free. Unfortunately this passed week she was diagnosed with metastatic adenocarcinoma after undergoing a biopsy on her lungs to investigate some concerning spots. This has come has a shock and incredibly difficult thing for her and our entire family. She donated all of her medical supplies to people in need after her first treatment and now we find ourselfs back at square one needing to re-buy supplies as well as support the time off needed for beginning treatment. It is with a deep heart of gratitude that we are reaching out to the community to ask for help. Sherri has been a friend to her community and served people while working in the medical field for many years. Most recently before her cancer diagnosis working in hospice helping people during their most vulnerable time, she does so with a huge heart and compassion.
