My name is Sherri Long and I’m 38. Last year, the day after Thanksgiving, I unfortunately had a stroke that landed me in the hospital for a few months. On December 18, 2023, I had open-heart surgery and had all my valves replaced. I’m so grateful for Doug, who was by my side every day; he saved me…

In April 2024, unfortunately, Doug had a heart attack in our driveway and fought for 10 days before his body couldn’t fight anymore…Unfortunately I couldn’t save him. After 15 wonderful years together, I lost my best friend and was left alone, picking up the pieces.

I am still healing from my heart/health issues, and it left me no choice but to find work that I could do (not having to talk because of losing my speech and not really having to deal with stuttering/struggling in front of people). So, I have been cleaning toilets and offices/businesses, and unfortunately, it's barely 20 hours a week.

I’m not one to ask for help, but I’m to the point where I need help!! I can’t keep up with my bills, and I am struggling, depressed, and don’t know what to do…

So, any help is greatly appreciated and will be used for bills and food… please help!
