My name is Suzzanne Paris and I'm raising money for my only sister, Shelley Spalding who had a catastrophic fall while on Vacation in Mexico to celebrate her birthday. The fall resulted in a traumatic brain injury and she is currently in the ICU awaiting surgery to relieve the swelling in her brain. Our family had to raise $30,000 today as the Hospital would not perform the life saving surgery without a deposit. Shelly has health insurance but it could be weeks before the health insurance will start partially covering the bills of her hospital stay. We believe that after Shelley is out of surgery and well enough to leave the hospital that it will be another 30 days minimum of rehabilitation which can cost anywhere from $4,000.00 to $8,000.00

During this time my sister will not be able to work and because she is self employed she won't have any income nor assistance to pay her bills.
