My name is Idalis, and I'm reaching out with heavy heart and urgent plea for help for my son Shawn, who is fighting through an incredibly painful and life altering back injury.

Shawn has been suffering from a serious that has left him unable to work and in constant pain. An MRI revealed serious issues on his back, including a broken disc in his lower back that is now compressing his spinal cord. This is causing severe nerve pain radiating through his right leg along with concerning loss of strength and muscle mass on that side.

The doctor has told me that surgery is ultimately necessary to prevent further damage, but before he can qualify, he must endure weeks of physical therapy-even though is excruciating and won't fix the underlying problem, just because is requirement that the health insurance ask for. On top of this, steroids treatments have dangerously raised his A1C levels requiring additional medical care.

Throughout all this my mother and I have done everything we can to cover his rent, food transportation to appointments and co-payments, but we have reached a point where we simply can’t keep up with the growing expenses and we can’t do it alone.

I know that the expenses will increase after surgery for now, we’re humbly asking for your help to raise $10,000 to cover the following
